Thom Meek

Thom Meek, AIA, is a project designer and land planner with experience in numerous hospitality and entertainment, corporate office, educational projects and residential projects. He has been practicing architecture in the Nashville area for the past 14 years. He specialty includes programming and schematic design, project management and master planning.

Mr. Meek holds a B.S. Degree in Architecture from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with participation in the European Studies Program in Yugoslavia. His residential experience focuses on unique renovations as well as new construction such as Deerwood Manor, Brentwood, Tennessee; Gaines Residence in The Hill Place Community, Nashville, Tennessee and Palmer Residence in the Hillsboro Neighborhood, Nashville, Tennessee.

His hospitality and entertainment design experience includes the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, Nashville, Tennessee; Power and Light Entertainment District, Kansas City, Missouri; Malliouhana Hotel Spa, Meads Bay, Anguilla, British West Indies; Tropicana Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada; Opryland Hotel Phase IV–The Delta, Nashville, Tennessee; Atwood Lake Resort, Sherrodsville, Ohio; Lamp Lighter Inn, London, Canada; The Wildhorse Saloon, Nashville, Tennessee; and Beauregard’s Restaurant at Opryland Hotel, Nashville, Tennessee.

Corporate office design experience ranges from the Nashville-based Pinnacle National Bank to the Hendersonville, Tennessee headquarters of Smith Travel Research Corp.

His professional affiliations include AIA National, AIA Tennessee and AIA Middle Tennessee.
