The redevelopment of building #1 (consisting of 20,000 sq. ft.) will be home to the Entrepreneurial Center for Nashville. The design will launch a 'creative campus' for new ideas and start-up companies that will fuel the area's economic growth for decades to come. This LEED certified space will reclaim an abandoned structure and restore vibrancy around new business endeavors.

A 24/7 café will be a gathering place for entrepreneurs throughout the community. 75 incubator spaces will be 'micro offices' for start up businesses that will launch their operations at the Entrepreneur Center - then will move out into their own space. A 130-seat educational facility and classroom infrastructure support the mission of helping businesses during the critical startup phase.

The overall facility design reflects the migration of a business concept from an idea through the development phase and to an official launch. The Entrepreneur Center is focused on the development of NashvilleÕs four pillars of economic growth: Healthcare, Technology, Digital Media and Entertainment, and Social Enterprise.
